HL Plastics is the UK’s leading trade extruder recently relocated to a new custom- built facility in Denby, Derbyshire.   We are seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to manage our fleet operation. This will involve planning routes and deliveries, maximising loads and improving the efficiency of the delivery operation.

The successful candidate will be supervising 7 members of the transport team whilst monitoring and reporting on drivers, vehicles, deliveries and depot performance.​  This is,very a much, a hands-on role.​ You will report directly to the Works Director.

To be successful you must have knowledge of UK Taco Law, driving legislation and an excellent geographical knowledge.​ Ideally you will have at least 5 years previous supervisory experience, a firm management style and a working knowledge of computers particularly MS Word and Excel.​

The hours will be Monday and Friday working 8am - 5pm however flexibility is a must as the industry is unpredictable.​
