Qualifications and Key Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
• Experience with rotating electrical machines or related disciplines preferred but not essential if newly qualified
• Occasional overseas travel to sister companies and customers' sites

Principal duties:

• Electrical design of generators, exciters and ancillary products
• Providing technical support to Sales, Service, Test and Manufacturing Departments
• Writing of technical reports and specifications
• Electromagnetic and thermal analysis
• Working on new product innovations and developments
• Investigating electrical issues on Brush test beds and on customers' sites
